Give the Gift of Big O!
(cross-posted to several other communities)

Hello everyone!

For Heaven's Day, SaveBigO.com is having a "Give the Gift of Big O" contest! Here's the basic gist of things:

In conjunction with Steele Comics, this year for Heaven's Day, we're giving the gift of Big O!

This contest is funded by fans, for fans. Head over to Steele Comics and donate with the special link. You can donate as much or as little as you like, from a dollar on up. These donation will purchase, at wholesale prices, the Big O DVD box sets and Manga series for at least one lucky contestant.

If you want to win the Big O for yourself, read the following:

-Send us mail to the following address: bigogift@savebigo.com telling us why you should be the one we give it to! Have you been longing to own the DVD's but were too broke? Couldn't find the manga? Do you want to donate it to your local hospital or library or your poor, Big-O deprived best buddy? Tell us why you deserve to win in your mail! Your donations will determine how cool the prizes will be, see below:

-The minimum prize awarded will be the Season One and Two Box Sets and the full Manga series (Six Issues). If our visitors are generous enough to donate more, we will structure the prizes as follows:

* Grand Prize: Season One and Two Box Sets, Full Manga series (Six issues)
* First Prize: Season One and Two Box Set (We'd just love to give out two or three of these!)
* Second Prize: Box set of Season One OR Box set of Season Two OR the entire Manga series (Six issues) (Again, we would love to give out more than one!)
* Third Prize: Winner's choice of Individual DVD's OR any two Manga (subject to availability).

Head over to savebigo.com for more details on the front news page!

SaveBigO.com asks for your help!
Hey everyone :)

For those of you that can't get enough of Big O and were left wondering "WTF?!?!" at the end of season 2, then I'd like to point you over to SaveBigO.com.

There's a lot happening right now, including snail mail campaigns, and sending a truckload of tomatoes to Adult Swim. However, the reason why I'm bugging everyone (as I do every couple of months), is because there is currently an online petition that only takes 30 seconds to sign.

Now, I know you're probably thinking....online petitions don't do anything. But, that's not the only thing we're doing, and every little bit helps. We're simply trying to reaffirm our point that there is a large fanbase for Big O.

Click here to sign the petition!

Thank you for your time :)

Hopefully the community isn't TOO dead, hehe
I don't know if was just a rumor or not, but I heard Viz was going to eventually publish the 2 volumes of The Big O: Lost Memories.
Does anyone know anything about it?
It's been a while, and I have been thinking about it again.

Does anyone know a good, reliable site where I can purchase the Big O art book? Or whatever appropriate name one should call the book ^^'

Hey no-one posted for a bit so I thought I risk posting this even tho it's probally been posted a million (or at least one) time/s before:

Every one fave episode and why?

Mine: Lost Cat

Just for the pure Dorothy fan love I have *sighs*, I mean sure there are more DorothyXRoger eps that are much more, well you know, but I do love the kitty one because I have a kitty just like it!! Called Pebbles, which is quite like Pero!!! But the femal equivlent... I should really take a pic of my D-Chan cosplay and my kitty ^^ But I do also have a fond place in my heart for the episode where Dorothy is a negociator for the day (ep.18? Can't be botherd to treck all the way down the stairs then up the stairs to my room to check..)

But what about you guys??

Man, this community totally died. ;_;

Does anyone have their pretty eye on the Big O II box DVD set?

I have my eye on the season one box set. And a Big O artbook, while I'm at it. Yuh-huh-huh!

Also, there was a leak in my family's so-called "secrecy" that my present for going off to college could possibly be a custom Mercedes-Benz. Black like the Griffon. Hee hee. Although, for it to have the authentic Griffon feel, it would have to be a stickshift. As much as I love sticks, I'm not exactly great at driving them (I've only driven one once or twice).
But we shall see.

Something to excite the R. Dorothy fanboys...
The creator of this R. Dorothy action figure has agreed to start production on her again if at least 10 people place an order for it. He's charging $55 a piece for each figure ordered. Just thought I'd mention it here for those who are interested. If you would like to snag one, you can sign up here.

You will have to join the forum to place your order, but while you're there, you should check out TBO III campaign - that's of course, if you're interested in helping the cause for a season three ;)

Aside from the removable skirt aspect, I think the figure itself is pretty awesome.
